Jake Burlison persuaded the driver the reverse into the alley before Gareth Stephenson pulled out a massive machete and started swiping at his car, smashing the passenger side rear window. When the driver got out of the car to remonstrate with the pair, Stephenson started slashing the machete towards him before stabbing him in the leg. Shaun Dodds, prosecuting, said: “The alleyway he was lured down was a dead end for vehicles but was a walkway for pedestrians, the defendant Stephenson appeared and produced a large machete and started attacking the car. ....
