SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) Nearly one year after the first person in Santa Clara County was diagnosed with COVID-19, officials say the county hit 100,000 cases this week, marking a milestone that no one wanted to see.

Bloom Energy and El Camino Health today announced the launch of the University of Illinois innovative Shield T3 COVID testing system and mobile laboratory at Bloom Energys manufacturing facility in Sunnyvale, California.
The new mobile lab, powered and hosted by Bloom Energy, is open to Bay Area businesses and schools for simple, rapid and inexpensive COVID-19 testing.
