While the GTSR Maloo may not be familiar to some international readers, it was the ultimate version of Holden’s Maloo ute before the car manufacturer ceased its operations. Just 600 examples were made and this particular example that is listed up for sale from Gardner Autos in Western Australia is number 600, which makes it the last to have been built. Following Holden’s demise, prices for rare HSV models have skyrocketed, culminating in a 1 of 4 GTSR W1 Maloo selling at auction in January for a staggering AU$1.05 million ($819,000).
