Melissa morris, who is assistant professor of history and american studies here at the university of wyoming and a member of the Humanities Research institutes steering committee, who will be our moderator tonight and who will introduce our speakers. He specializes in the history of science, medicine, disease, and is working on a book that examines scientific attitudes and cultural constructions of typhoid fever.
