Doha: The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani chaired Wednesday the cabinet s regular meeting held at its seat at the Amiri Diwan.
Following the meeting, Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs HE Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi said the following statement:
At the beginning of the meeting, the Cabinet expressed deep satisfaction with the arrival of the first shipment of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, in implementation of the directives of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and the start of the vaccination campaign beginning today through select health centers in the country in the largest vaccination campaign in the State of Qatar. ....

It’s another major win for Qatar as the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has just confirmed the winner of the Asian Games 2030 bid.
Qatar has been named the host nation of the Asian Games 2030, beating rival Saudi Arabia in the bidding race.
Qatar received the majority of the votes at 39th OCA General Assembly that took place in Oman today.
