To the left background is All Saints on Broad Street, made conspicuous with the then new construction of Thorpe House, Broadway House, and Kemble House. To the right of All Saints is the northern side of High Town with the facade of Lloyds Bank and leading across to St Peter s Church and the nearby Shirehall and Town Hall. Running from the background is the newly constructed east-west Blueschool Street section of the ring road from Commercial Square.
