this is my third dui. this is somebody is telling me something, you know. next time i could have killed somebody. i m grateful that i m here, i really am. and i plan on turning my life around. i really do. i had a family, but i messed it all up. drugs, alcohol. divorce. you know, my kids my kids i d see the sadness in their eyes. they d be like, mom, are you drinking? don t drink, i hate when you drink. they ve seen me go to rehab after rehab, you know. but i always thought i had it all under control. but look at my life. i had a lot. i had a business, i had homes. all of that. i had a flower shop. i had so many opportunities. and because of my drinking, i lost everything. in jail, gallorini has replaced drinking with poetry. my heart has been broken, my soul has been sold. pick up the pieces of this shattered life, just wanted a family and home and perfect life. ....
