Labours shadow chancellor John Mcdonnell has called on all the main Political Parties to agree a new independent system to tackle Sexual Harassment at westminster. Mr mcdonnell said the recent allegations of misconduct by mps were distressing and undermined Public Confidence in the political system. Last night, the conservative mp, Charlie Elphicke, was suspended by his party. The tories said serious allegations had been referred to the police. Mr elphicke said hed done nothing wrong. Emma vardy reports. Claims of harassment and abuse in the political sphere show no signs of subsiding.
