Police release name of man shot to death in Fairfield
FAIRFIELD Police released the name Tuesday of a man who died after being shot Friday in a residential area of the city.
Gabriel Oseguera-Preciado, 22, who police report was associated with residences in both Fairfield and Vacaville, died after being shot during what police describe as “an altercation” that ended with gunfire.
Police dispatchers began receiving phone calls at approximately 1:30 p.m. of a possible shooting on the 1900 block of Grande Circle.
Responding personnel found Oseguera-Preciado with gunshot wounds and immediately rendered aid, police reported last week in a press release. Officers initiated CPR until fire and medical personnel arrived on the scene and took over. ....
