Good morning. Im Melissa Harrisperry. The question on everyones mind today, are we going to war with syria . The United Nations chemical weapons expert left syria early this morning, about three hours before scheduled, wrapping up their investigation into whether chemical weapons were used in the attack last week in the suburbs of damascus that left more than 1,400 people dead. The Obama Administration believes the Syrian Government is responsible for the attack. And yesterday, both the president and secretary of state john kerry laid out the case for American Military strikes against the regime. Military strikes that the president says will be extremely limited. Were not considering any openended commitment. Were not considering any boots on the ground approach. What we will do is consider options that meet the narrow concern around chemical weapons, understanding that theres not going to be a solely military solution to the underlying conflict and tragedy thats taken place in syria.
