75th Anniversary Bonanza Offers Nod to Olive Ann Beech

In a nod to the Beechcraft Bonanza’s upcoming 75th anniversary, Textron Aviation will offer a special-edition Bonanza G36 option featuring a custom interior and paint scheme, the airframer announced on Tuesday. The order book has been opened for the special-edition option, priced at $18,000, which will be available for delivery in 2022, the piston single’s milestone year.
“The formula for the Beechcraft Bonanza’s longevity involves an ageless style and utility, a passionate legion of owners and aspiring owners, and a seven-decade commitment by company engineers to continuously refine and update features to meet customer, technology, regulatory, and environmental needs,” said Textron Aviation senior v-p of global sales and flight operations Lannie O’Bannion. ....

Piper Aircraft Plans Safe Exhibit Experience at Sun 'n Fun Expo | Business Aviation News: Aviation International News

Piper Aircraft said it will exhibit next week at the 2021 Sun ‘n Fun International Fly-In & Expo, which will be the largest in-person aviation show held since the pandemic started 13 months ago. The aircraft manufacturer said its presence at the event which runs from April 13 to 18 in Lakeland, Florida will be “appropriately sized” and incorporate safety measures to protect the health of attendees and the Piper exhibit team.
Its static display will include Piper’s flagship M600 SLS turboprop single, which comes with the Halo safety system that features Garmin Autoland. Also on display will be a Seminole piston twin and Archer piston single. ....
