The classic 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz” starring Judy Garland as Dorothy comes to the big screen Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Historic Eureka Theater, 612 F St., Eureka.
The first half of the program will conclude with “March to the Scaffold” by Hector Berlioz and the second half of the program, following an intermission, will begin with “Brass Chamber Music” conducted by Fred Tempas.
The Cal Poly Humboldt Department of Dance, Music, and Theatre will present the jazz combos The King’s Milk Quartet, The Groovy Goobers and Lil Swaqq Friday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. at the Fulkerson Recital Hall on the university campus in Arcata.
