Cape Town - Whistle blowers have cautioned national police that suspects wanted by Interpol found hiding in the Western Cape and across the country should be a wake up call.
The State says it will spend the weekend poring over two ‘massive’ files relating to the alleged offences of Ukiliho Kayishema Fulgence. There are already 17 charges have been filed, but it says more will be added.
After being on the run since 2001, the 61-year-old was arrested on Thursday at a grape farm in Paarl on an Interpol Red Notice issued by the UN International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals.
An infamous Rwandan fugitive, Ukiliho Kayishema Fulgence, appeared in the Cape Town Magistrates’ Court on Friday on multiple charges related to fraud and immigration violations, after being arrested in Paarl on Wednesday (24 May).
