A church in Japan has not been touched in a decade after it was caught up in the nuclear catastrophe of 2011.
The Fukushima First Bible Baptist Church in Okuma is just over four kilometres from the epicentre of the disaster which was caused by an earthquake and tsunami.
Premier News reports the church is located within an area where the government continues to enforce a no-go rule due to the danger of radiation.
The building is worn from being left dormant for ten years.
A notice for the upcoming Sunday service due to take place in March 2011 still hangs on the billboard outside. ....

Tokyo - In March 2011, one of the strongest earthquakes ever recorded struck off Japan’s northeast coast, causing a deadly tsunami that triggered a nuclear meltdown.
AFP’s Tokyo bureau mobilised quickly, and journalists have spent years reporting from the affected Tohoku region. A decade after the disaster, which left around 18,500 people dead or missing, AFP journalists returned to the area to report a series of stories ahead of the anniversary.
