Frontier Central Schools
After three years as superintendent of Frontier Central Schools, Richard Hughes is moving on effective immediately.
The Frontier School Board Tuesday evening approved what is being called a mutual agreement in the best interests of the District that allows Hughes to pursue other opportunities.
Colleen Duggan has been appointed acting superintendent for the next month, as Frontier conducts what it calls a short search for an interim superintendent. A decision on a permanent replacement is expected over the summer.
Before coming to Frontier, Hughes was Superintendent of Central Valley Schools and Otselic Valley Schools. He is also Board Vice President of the New York State Association for Computers and Technology in Education.
