The shooting happened 3 15 this morning, when scott lunger pulled over a truck for driving erratically. As Sergeant Lunger got out of the car and approached the drivers side of the vehicle, the driver shot Sergeant Lunger without warning. A second officer in a separate vehicle had also responded and returned fire as the pickup raced away. The second officer used his radio to alert dispatchers.
