Gagne Takes Runner-Up Finish in Superbike Race 2 at COTA Fresh N Lean Progressive Yamaha Racing’s Jake Gagne returned to the podium with a strong runner-up finish in MotoAmerica Superbike Race 2 at the Circuit of The Americas MARIETTA, Ga. – Fresh N Lean Progressive Yamaha Racing’s Jake Gagne took home a runner-up finish in today’s restarted MotoAmerica Superbike Race 2 at the Circuit of The Americas. Unfortunately, JD Beach’s second race of the weekend as a fill-in rider ended early with a crash. On the heels of his 10th win of the season in yesterday’s Race 1 at the Grand Prix track in Austin, Texas, Gagne got another great start in the runner-up spot. The race was red-flagged, calling for a complete restart and a shortened 10-lap race. Once again, the three-time MotoAmerica Superbike Champion slotted into second and was battling up front. Petersen Eager to Get Rolling at Road America Fresh N Lean Progressive Yamaha Racing’s Cameron Petersen injured his wrist during a team test but is planning to ride this weekend at Road America for MotoAmerica Superbike MARIETTA, Ga. – May 31, 2023 – Fresh N Lean Progressive Yamaha Racing’s Cameron Petersen aims to line up this weekend for MotoAmerica Superbike Round 3 in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, despite a wrist injury. Petersen has been working on returning to full fitness after his crash last Monday at Barber Motorsports Park during a team test. While not back to 100%, he looks to join his teammate Jake Gagne on the grid at Road America. It was a strong start to the season for the reigning back-to-back MotoAmerica Superbike Champion, whose second and first-place finish at the opening round has him tied for the points lead.
