Guided by the Champagne house’s Chef de Cave HerveÌ Dantan, Stroh will be responsible for the vineyard while offering technical support to its wine growers to achieve the French High Environmental Value Certification. In addition, Stroh will ensure the quality and traceability of sourced grapes that characterise Lansonâs wines and support the vineyard team working on emerging techniques of vineyard management and soil life. She has a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering with Viticulture-Oenology and a National Diploma of Oenology (DNO) from Bordeaux. ....
Champagne Lanson furthers sustainability strategy Champagne Lanson has appointed a new Vineyards and Sustainable Development Manager in line with its long-term sustainability strategy. Mélody Stroh will join the maison, with responsibility for the vineyard and providing technical support for the wine growers to help achieve the French High Environmental Value certification. Champagne Lanson Head of Travel Retail Edouard de Boissieu said: “Champagne Lanson has a long-term strategy for sustainability which, of course, also affects our travel retail business and how we work with our retail partners in this respect. “We are already in discussions with a number of partners regarding how we can put our ideas into practice and promote our sustainability to consumers. We hope to be able to announce one significant travel retail project shortly.” ....
