The FIS Council held an online meeting today to discuss select agenda items before its traditional Spring meeting in conjunction with the FIS Congress at the start of June.
The main decisions of the online Council meeting are as follows:
FIS International Ski Congress 2021
After reviewing all of the latest data and information in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic, the FIS Council agreed to hold the 52nd International Ski Congress online to ensure the safety and health of all FIS stakeholders.
Since the Congress has already been postponed by one year, the FIS Council agreed that the General Assembly day would be held online on 4th June with an abbreviated agenda. Included on the agenda will be the election of the FIS President and FIS Council for the term lasting until the election at the 2022 Congress.
