paul ryan said we ve all got to get on board because if we don t, then donald trump will negotiate with the democrats. essentially you have the speaker of the house saying we cannot trust a republican president of the united states to stay true to our conservative principles. that s another shot in this civil war. i have to say elevating the freedom caucus in this way with this attack, i can t imagine there s the freedom caucus hasn t hated the spotlight in the past. two things. if trump is going to take on someone here, it should really be the tuesday group. they re the ones who refused to sit down with the freedom caucus. they don t want to find a way to get to yes at this point. if the democrats are smart, they would work with trump to try and get this done. but the challenge is the entire democratic party is the freedom caucus of the left. they do not have a moderate wing. their base would cause them more problems than it s worth in 2018
trump actually is under investigation, and he goes, eh, so what. no big deal. just, you know, business as usual. it s okay. . hitched their horse to it. freedom caucus hasn t hitched their horse to his. i think they re going to hold out. the concessions aren t going to be pallettablpalettable. i wonder if they re going huge constituencies to get rid this insurance deregulation thing would collapse the insurance industry. i mean, you would have to really there will be significant pushback from the insurance. if they do not hold a vote on thursday, will they be able to bring a bill to the floor at any point in the future? or is this just collapsing in on itself and does donald trump move on to tax reform? i think they ll still have an opportunity in the future but i wonder how many animosity is going to come up with the process and people just really honkering down and putting their stake in the ground and these are what we will not concedeof
