Anti-DEI Bill Passes House and Senate, Expected to Become Law

  H.B. 261, Utah’s bill restricting diversity, equity and inclusion practices in education, passed the House this Friday and will be sent for approval by Gov. Spencer Cox, who has already expressed support for anti-DEI measures. It is rather ironic that those most active in trying to repress the freedom of speech and thought of others are most often found in the academy, high-tech information giants, and the press or precisely those who ought to be the strongest defenders of liberty. Why is this?
