STCC newcomer Robin Knutsson will miss the final official pre-season test after a hard crash during the first day of testing at Ljungbyhed Park.
The 19-year-old escaped unharmed but was taken to hospital for a routine check.
“It was a hard hit, but I feel ok and everything looked good at the hospital check-up. A huge thanks to everyone in the rescue staff and the team for their efforts today,” said Knutsson.
The Lestrup Racing Team driver went off track at Turn 6 at well over 100 km/h and struck an earth wall, resulting in damage that was not repairable ahead of the final test day tomorrow. ....
