Would appreciate a phone call. Alison emergency room shut down and patients were put in the ambulances and whisked away to another hospital. This is as the hazmat teams scoured fredericks hospital. After two people walked in and said they were burned when they opened a package. As Maryland Bureau chief brad bell reports the hospital is back open after hours of tension. Brad in the last 45 minutes or so, things have it goen back to nowhere hall here at the hospital. The ambulances are coming and going. They opened a box at home. Something got on the skin. They felt a burn and came to the hospital and brought the box with them. Out of abundance of caution First Responders had to declare the hospital what they call adminny disaster zone. The police are starting a different investigation. People who received a box at their home with the household chemical inside didnt order the box. Police want to find out what that is all about. Situation after two men, who live in military, came to the hospital, drove themselves here, saying they had received a package with white powder inside of it. They were afraid it could have been anthrax or some other kind of powder. They were complaining about burning skin and respiratory issues. They were treated here at Frederick Memorial Hospital, but the problem is, they brought the package along with them. Because of that, the hospital had to take some extra precautions and part of that was making sure that no new ambulances came to this hospital but were diverted to other hospitals and to remove patients who were in the emergency room where these guys were to another part of the emergency room where they would be safe. The new governments president is the first black woman to head Student Government at au. Students are demanding more than town halls.
