Two Colorado veterans featured in Tuskegee Airmen documentary

Gene Pfeffer, historian and curator at the National Museum of World War II Aviation, shows one of the Tuskegee Airmen displays at the Colorado Springs museum Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, while giving a tour of the 21-acre site at the Colorado Springs Airport. HISTORY Channel Announces New 'Tuskegee Airmen' Documentary from Robin Roberts

The HISTORY® Channel announces its new one-hour documentary, “Tuskegee Airmen: Legacy of Courage,” executive produced and narrated by “Good Morning America” anchor,
Robin Roberts.
The special explores the history, legacy and impact of America’s first Black military pilots and how their significant contributions to this country inspired the next generation of activists and leaders pushing for racial equality and civic change. Featuring archival footage, and personal anecdotes from Roberts, whose father was a Tuskegee Airman, this powerful documentary will shine a light on the incredible men who sacrificed their lives despite all odds stacked against them.
