ORLANDO, Fla. - The big red M on Orlando’s Downtown Marriott hotel is a familiar sight to anyone driving through the city on Interstate 4. The hotel s days may be numbered though, as creditors have filed a complaint for foreclosure in state court.
The hotel is an easy walk to downtown s major attractions, and it s in Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill s district.
Bank building sells
A local investor paid $900,000 for the former PNC Bank branch building at 25405 Perdido Beach Blvd., in Orange Beach, according to Vallas Realty, which represented the buyer. The buyer plans to convert the building into a retail specialty shop. Cory Bronenkamp of Elcan & Associates and Franklin Street Real Estate worked for the seller.
A local investor paid $355,000 for a 3,800-square-foot office building at 109 E. 14th Avenue in Gulf Shores, according to David and Angie Swiger of Swiger & Company Realtors.
The Class A office space is available for lease with a total of 8 offices that can be leased together or separately, according to the Swigers, who handled the transaction.
