Stolen Merchandise Returned To Bend Stores
Two Bend men were arrested for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from several local stores and attempted to sell the goods on the internet through various sites. Bend Police arrested Nicholas Arthur Dawson, 24, and Francisco Noe Larrea, 50.
The investigation started last month after police responded to a call of a theft at Sportsman’s Warehouse. The employee was able to give the officer video surveillance of the two suspects as well as video surveillance of the SUV they were associated with, a red Ford Expedition.
Back on February 15th, a Bend Police officer stopped Dawson, who was driving the SUV filled with stolen merchandise from various local retailers. Police later searched a storage unit that Dawson rented and found several stolen items.  He was taken into custody and first sent to St. Charles Health System. On February 18th, he was booked into the Deschutes County Jail. ....
