  A human rights activist, Francis Nwapa, has called on the Nigerian government to stop MultiChoice from the incessant increment of its subscription rates for GoTv and DStv packages in Nigeria. SaharaReporters had reported that the management of Multichoice Nigeria announced a fresh hike in the subscription rates for its DStv and GOtv packages, barely four months after the previous fee adjustment.

Stop POS Operators From Buying, Selling Naira To Nigerians In Their Own Country, Activist Tells Anti-Corruption Agency, EFCC

      A human rights activist, Francis Nwapa, has asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to stop Point of Sale operators (POS) from buying naira from financial institutions and individuals and reselling to Nigerians with high charges. Nwapa also asked the anti-graft agency to arrest people in different financial institutions across the country making Nigerians buy naira in their own country.
