Jack Oliver Michael Reece, aged 21, of Corporation Road, Weymouth admitted failing to stop for police and drove without due care and attention on March 30 last year in Franchise Street A DRIVER who fled from police when they asked him to stop - reversing down a road at high speed - has managed to keep his licence. Jack Oliver Michael Reece tried to evade officers as he drove his black Volkswagen Golf aggressively in Chapelhay, and gave them the middle finger , a court heard. Reece, who the court heard has anger issues , ended up abandoning the car and running away but was caught in a nearby garden. ....

A MAJOR emergency response was triggered in Weymouth after a man was injured after falling from a wall. Ambulance paramedics, police and the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance attended an address in Franchise Street near the harbour after a man was injured during a fall from a height this morning. The air ambulance was called by the ambulance service and landed nearby at the field near Bincleaves Road. A spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust said: We responded to a call received at 9.58am about a fall-related incident on Franchise Street, Weymouth. We treated an injured male patient and transported him to hospital by land ambulance for further care. ....
