The newspaper works with several nonprofit organizations to deliver toys, books and, of course, smiles to those in need in the region. The United Way of Central Massachusetts is a main partner in the effort. This year, T&G Santa will connect with children through the following agencies: Catholic Charities of Southbridge; the state Department of Mental Health; the Devereux Foundation; the Devereux School; the Gardner Community Action Committee; Rainbow Child Development Center; Salvation Army branches in Worcester, Fitchburg and Milford; WHEAT Community Services in Clinton, and Winchendon Community Action Committee. ....
