Consultation on herbal remedy garden in town centre launched A CONSULTATION has been launched over plans to form a public garden full of medicinal herbs, shrubs and plants in Newbury. The plans were proposed by Newbury Town Council earlier this month, and is expected to be situated in the green space at Old Hospital Green, Andover Road, where the Binary Conversation sculpture can be found. Fran Lawton, volunteer and garden designer, said: “The idea of a medicinal garden on the site of the old hospital was a very natural decision.
