Stafford residents plagued by late U.S. Mail deliveries Stafford County has been experiencing delays from the U.S. Postal Service with residents receiving their mail weeks late. The Postal Service has stated that these delays were a result of the combination of the increased online orders from people staying at home and a decrease in staff because of the coronavirus pandemic. The Stafford Board of Supervisors addressed these delays at their meeting on Feb. 2 and continued discussion at their meeting on Feb. 16. At the Feb. 2 meeting, Hartwood District Supervisor Gary Snellings said that the delays had become a serious issue in the western part of the district. ....
