School teacher, my father a public school teacher, my siblings public school teachers, my sister is a fourth grade school teacher. i love teachers. this idea that i don t is nonsense. i have a problem with the teachers union. it is not tested narcissistic, sending teacher dues for its own political power, doesn t work out for teachers or students or parents and i have a big problem with the way they conducted things in the state so i have taken it on. the only governor in the state that is never in history funded the teachers pension which is a sad commentary and put 100% of the money to education which kentuckians have been promised for 30 years. i m the first governor to actually do it and putting more money into the classrooms than ever in the history of the state. there s nothing to complain about. the teachers union has its knickers in a twist but i consider that a component as well. shannon: yours is one of a number of races in kentucky, next year folks will be watching ....
