John Firkel and Charlie Tarulli have been following the Bonnies since the team played in the Olean Armory. Firkel, who was born, raised and lived in Olean his entire life, enjoyed watching Bob Lanier, the program’s shining star, develop from his freshman year to his senior season, when he led the program in 1970 to its only Final Four appearance.
