London School of Commerce, Dhaka ‘unauthorised’, UGC finds

University Grants Commission (UGC) has found an unauthorised study centre London School of Commerce, Dhaka and urged the authorities concerned to take immediate steps to close the centre.
LSC Dhaka has been running educational activities in the name of United Kingdom s London School of Commerce, said a press release signed by Shamsul Arefin, director of UGC s public relations.
About the centre, Dr Biswajit Chanda, member of UGC s private university department, said it is a criminal offence to run student admission and educational activities at a study centre without permission from the government, the release said. ....
