Community responds after family loses everything in North Fort Myers house fire

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. – You might remember this heartbreaking story from just a week ago. A family home in North Fort Myers was completely destroyed in an early morning fire, leaving a family with almost nothing just a week before Christmas.
Since then, the community has come together to make sure they get back on their feet.
Michele Gillis still remembers the final moments in her home, before her and her family’s lives were turned upside down.
