Of covid. but we know that masks do. and schools need them if kids have any shot at a normal school year. but these people are fighting against that. even though florida already has more than 26,000 students and staff testing positive for covid. more than 45,000 students and staff quarantining. and let me remind you that florida is one of the five states with less than 10% icu capacity remaining because of the delta surge. but is that what the governor is worried about? no. his education department is penalizing two school districts for their mask mandates withholding funds until they get rid of those mandates. all this leaving children in the middle. but down in lee county they are still implementing a mask mandate. they ve got it down on the books for the next 30 days, at least. they might get shouted down. they might have to contend with an anti-mask governor. ....
