老家附近的坡下面，是我的老老姑住的地方，叫湾子里；我小时候就经常到这里玩耍。
我老老姑，是我曾祖父的妹妹、我爷爷的姑姑；爷爷六岁丧母，是我老老姑把他一手拉扯大的。她在十五岁时，翻一个大沟嫁到这个地方，丈夫比她大二十多岁，一个前房的女儿比她小三岁。老老姑父是个读书人，整天看《资治通鉴》，下地耕田不行。老老姑是一个小脚女人，村上人都知道，吆牛、耕地、摇耧、扬场，甚至背粪。啥是背粪？就是要把种子和在粪里面，然后背着，一边走一边撒。她活了九十多岁，一直给我讲她过去的故事。
我随便走在村落街上，几乎都能碰见亲戚。我们的曾祖辈、祖父辈、父亲辈，都陆陆续续在我眼前消失，都化作了脚下的泥土。
我提前退休回到老家，在朋友支持下建立了黄堡书院� ....
