The unanimous vote from the House Ethics Committee comes after they initially ordered harold to pay back in september of last year when he said no, one of them notified him of the meeting, the Ethics Committee then agreed to allow harold to present his case. The special prosecutor, on the case, said his guilty plea of six Campaign Violations two years ago was ultimately the key factor in this decision. On october 22, 2014 mr. Harold pled guilty to these offenses. They constituted personal misconduct. Therefore, the use of his Campaign Funds for the purpose of paying his lawyers would be disallowed. I am disappointed. I do not agree with the decision the committee made. But i do very much appreciate the committees finally given us an opportunity to come up and stand estate our side public, our side of the story.
