Several Christmas tree drop-off sites are being set up throughout Greater Saint John.
City spokesperson Nathalie Logan said six sites will be open throughout the city between Jan. 1 and 12.
They include the Charles Gorman Arena on University Avenue; the Peter Murray Arena on Dever Road; the Hilton Belyea area on Lowell Street; the Forest Hills Ball Field on Westmorland Road; between 30 and 38 Taylor Avenue in Crescent Valley; and at the Old Sugar Refinery site, located at the end of Charlotte Street and Vulcan Street.
“Take off all your decorations and lights and trimmings,” said Logan. “Once that’s all set, you can drive it down to your closest location and look for the designated drop-off area, it will be clearly marked in each location.” ....
