The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested in Iligan City a suspected illegal drugs trader from whom seven grams of shabu was confiscated in a buy-bust operation.
NBI Officer-in-Charge Director Eric B. Distor identified the suspect as Jesty Estefanio, 31, who was arrested last July 3 by agents of the NBI’s Iligan District Office (NBI-ILDO).
“The operatives were able to buy from the subject one (1) piece Large Size Heat-sealed plastic sachet containing shabu weighing seven (7) grams with an estimated value of Php 47,600,” the NBI said in a statement.
“The confiscated illegal drug was forwarded to NBI-Regional Office 10, Forensic Chemistry Division for quantitative and qualitative examination,” it said. ....
