The acting Provincial Commissioner of the Free State, Major General Solly Lesia commended the sterling multi-disciplinary approach by various stakeholders that has led to the arrest of eight suspects and the subsequent recovery of firearms and stolen cash shortly after the commission of the crime.
On Tuesday, 06 April 2021, at about 17:30, the police in Clocolan received a complaint of a robbery that had just been committed at a post office where an undisclosed amount was robbed.
It is alleged by the 49-year-old of female complainant that she had just knocked off duty with five colleagues and was closing doors of the Post Office at Andries Pretorious Street when they were accosted by five armed men. ....
