I-G re-appoints Mba, others | Naija247news

Abuja, April 9, 2021 The Acting Inspector-General of Police (I-G), Mr Usman Baba, has approved the re-appointment of Mr Frank Mba as the Force Public Relations Officer.
The I-G also approved the posting of Mr Hafiz Inuwa, an Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG), as the Force Secretary and Mr Idowu Owohunwa, as the Principal Staff Officer (PSO).
Mba announced this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.
According to him, the new force secretary takes over from Mr Mustapha Dandaura, an AIG who had been redeployed to Zone-7 Police Headquarters, Abuja.
“Inuwa holds a Masters Degree in Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) Prior to his appointment, he was the AIG in charge of Zone-13, Anambra. ....

The Nigeria Police Force has commenced the second phase of the nationwide registration and capturing of retired Police officers in the ongoing enrolment of retired police officers on the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen, in Abuja, by the Force Public Relations (FPRO), a Commissioner of Police, CP Frank Mba.
According to the statement, “the exercise is scheduled to commence, on 15th March 2021 while it is aimed at ensuring that no retired police officer (including his/her spouse), anywhere in the country, irrespective of rank on retirement, is not left out from having full access to all NHIS services and benefits covered by the Police Health Maintenance Organization (P ....

It was two years on the 15th January, 2021 when IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu assumed office as the 20th indigenous Inspector General of Police.
