AS 2020 has been a year like no other, we look back at how life unfolded for the town over the past 12 months and revisit some of the top stories from the year. IT WAS a fairly gloomy start to the New Year in Reading with the predictable car park chaos around Ikea for the Boxing Day sales. Pictures once again showed queues and queues of people waiting to get into the shop, as well as scores of drivers just waiting to get out for the car park. A site that wasn’t too common at several other points of the year also.
