London (dpa) - Heftige Regenfälle und Gewitter haben am Sonntag in London für Verkehrschaos gesorgt. Mehrere Straßen, U-Bahn-Stationen und ein Tunnel wurden wegen Überflutung geschlossen, wie unter anderem die BBC berichtete.
Eine Bahnstation der Docklands Light Railway in Stratford stand tief unter Wasser, wie auf Bildern des Senders Sky News zu sehen ist. Etliche Videos zeigen außerdem, wie Busse und Autos von Wassermassen ausgebremst wurden. In vielen Bereichen der Stadt führte das zu großen Verzögerungen im Verkehr.
