CLARK FREEPORT At least 77 displaced workers around the Metro Clark area will benefit from Clark Development Corporation s (CDC) livelihood assistance project called Kabuhayan Assistance for Displaced CFZ employees.
The work opportunity would stem from the agreement signed by CDC officer-in-charge for the Office of the President Engineer Mariza Mandocdoc with Food Panda Philippines Inc. (FPPI).
Under the agreement, the target beneficiaries will each receive financial assistance from FPPI. ....

The livelihood project dubbed “Kabuhayan Assistance for Displaced Clark Freeport Zone Workers” will benefit 77 individuals.  Under the agreement, each beneficiary will receive financial assistance from Food Panda Philippines, Inc. (FPPI).
 
CDC Officer-in-Charge Mariza Mandocdoc said a start-up allowance amounting to PhP3,000, including a PhP500 first year insurance for each Food Panda rider to be hired, will be given once its operation commences inside the Freeport.
 
“It’s heartwarming for us to find a partner in Food Panda. Probably for us it’s just a signing of document or hiring, but for employees who have been displaced, that means a lot to their families and to them,” she said.  ....
