Two were arrested Wednesday morning following a Nevada Highway Patrol stop in which the suspect driver was in a stolen SUV going more than 100 mph before running out of gas and then attempting to steal another vehicle, NHP officials said.
On Thursday, June 16, 2019, at approximately 7:30 PM, NHP Troopers were dispatched to a serious injury crash on IR-80 and mile marker 91 involving a single vehicle towing a box trailer.
12:31PM: The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified the driver as Jesus Herrarea-Casas from South Lake Tahoe. He was placed under arrest and taken to Carson City Sheriff’s Office for booking for Eluding Police, Reckless driving, Disregard Traffic control device(s), Speeding, and driving without a valid license.
