good morning. cnn this mor it is sunday, mth. i m kristin fisher in for amara walker. i m boris sanchez. kristin, i hope that getting that hour of sleep unnecessarily snatched away from your night didn t hurt too bad. of all the mornings to fill in for amara, right? i triple checked my alarm clocks this morning. we both made it and here we are. and here is what we re watching this morning. they started evacuating i think at 12 in the morning or one in the morning and they just started the national guard taking people out as they go. parts of california underwater, homes and businesses flooded with levees pushed to the brink. and we have got another big rainmaker on the way. this was the first time something like this was reported to us. we haven t had any other incidents that i can recall. three texas women believed to be missing in mexico after crossing the border more than two weeks ago. what her family is saying and what investigators are saying about t ....
There is a bigger concern for the town of pajaro. reporter: good morning. this is still the center of the flood response area and we re hearing in downtown pajaro with all of this water because we had the levee 3 1/2 miles away from us. the water breached the very top of that levee and all of this water sent to the lower elevations. of course, so many families and we have seen since the dawn hours on saturday national guard vehicles going up and down the main drag here of pajaro rescuing couples, families, dogs, trying to get as many people out of here as possible. we spoke with one of the representatives leading the rescue efforts here, cal fire. take a listen to when he told us he realized the levee had a breach and how many rescues they have accomplished in the early hours of their operations. we were notified of the levee breach at midnight last night. so we deployed down here 3:00 a.m. this morning. we did have the high water team ....
