If you see a business temporarily closed and wonder why, it may be because of a health order.
At a B.C. COVID-19 briefing on April 8, B.C. provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry announced that when three or more people in a workplace have COVID-19 and transmission has most likely occurred in the workplace, the workplace may be ordered to close for a minimum of 10 days. (At complex sites, part of the workplace may be ordered to close.)
Henry also explained that B.C.’s five regional health authorities would begin to start listing these businesses on their websites, and the health authorities began doing so this week. ....
