South Korea ready to allow 40 inter-Korean family reunions daily

Feb. 8 (UPI) South Korea is proposing the resumption of inter-Korean family reunions by video, a year after the global coronavirus pandemic forced suspension of nearly all exchange with the North.
Seoul s Unification Minister Lee In-young said Monday during a meeting with heads of reunion advocates at the Special Office for Inter-Korean Dialogue that he vows to reopen the path of peace, and the meeting of separated families who have not met since the 1950-53 Korean War, Newsis reported. ....
