And i thank you, i thank you from the bottom of my heart for placing at my side the man that last night you so wisely selected to be the next Vice President of the United States. [applause] pres. Johnson i know i speak for each of you and all of you when i say he proved himself tonight in that great acceptance speech. [applause] pres.
